Woodland Hills Personal Injury Lawyer Kyle Valero
Today, we sat down with Woodland Hills personal injury lawyer Kyle Valero. Mr. Valero is a local, growing up in the San Fernando Valley he attended Calabasas High School. Kyle grew up in a family full of lawyers, so after finishing high school, he moved on to the University of Arizona. While finishing his underground his love of the law continued to grow. Subsequently, Mr. Valero proceeded through law school and is now an accomplished and well-recognized injury attorney.
When we first sat down with Kyle it quickly became apparent that he makes people feel comfortable. Many people have misconceptions about attorneys, possibly even phobias or fears about talking to a lawyer. Mr. Valero however made us, and even clients we’ve witnessed, feel “at home” in his presence.
So, obviously, we wanted to know more about Kyle, why he is the way he is, and how he helps accident injury victims. We asked Kyle about his style. Here is what he had to say.
“To me, dealing with the law and attorneys and insurance companies can become overwhelming. I have seen solid, tenured attorneys, have trouble arguing with insurance adjusters and claim reps, so for the injury victim themselves, most likely have little to no knowledge of the legal system, it can cause lots of anxiety. I do all I can to make things simple, easy, and calm. This way the victim can focus on the most important thing, making a full recovery.”
We also wanted to learn more about cases he has worked, and what those cases meant to him. Kyle brought up lots of cases, but one in particular struck a chord. Mr. Valero helped a mother who was hit by a drunk driver. She almost died, and tragically, her unborn baby did not survive. Sadly, the driver at fault lacked significant insurance, so two other law firms turned the case down.
Kyle wanted to fight. He cared more about doing the right thing than how much money he could potentially make. Mr. Valero exhausted all resources and did not give up until he secured a victory for the victim. We asked Kyle why he took the case and how he felt about it. Here is what he said.
“My heart dropped. It was hard to listen to her whole story, to see the evidence, without breaking down and crying. Making matters worse for the victim, she was turned down multiple times by law firms, told by attorneys that she was essentially wasting their time. I jumped on this. I wanted to do anything I could to get her some form of justice, something. Money wasn’t important, fighting for her and for what happened to her child as important.”
Talking with Mr. Valero was an eye-opener. While Kyle is an aggressive, trial-tested injury litigation attorney, he has a carrying side that puts clients first.

We also wanted to learn more about how injury law works, and most of all, what Kyle thinks accident victims need to remember. We picked his brain, here is what he had to say.
“You need to go to the doctor RIGHT AWAY after an accident. I mean, if you’ve been injured, even if you do not feel pain right away, still go get checked out. First off, only a medical professional can actually determine your level of injuries. Second, and sadly, insurance companies love to find loopholes to not pay you what you’re entitled to. If you fail to seek medical attention, and we cannot document that the injuries you are suffering from are due to the accident in question, we could have trouble. We essentially must link the accident and the injuries together.”
Kyle was very passionate about this topic. He touched on some complex cases that the firm was able to assist with, where the victim did not seek medical attention fast enough. However, those cases had to go to trial. Which only delays the process of obtaining financial justice.
“We know injury victims have lots of concerns. Most of them are centered around financial stresses. If you go to the doctor, and we can put together documented medical evidence, it can significantly increase our chances of obtaining a speedy and acceptable financial settlement outside of court.”
